Model Export - Basic Concepts

Compression - Argyle compresses your model into our proprietary AR-ready format. It includes geometry and metadata.

Limits - There is not a strict export or vertices limit, but a practical one based on what device and how your content is modeled. Start small and work up to larger areas of the building. This helps you find any export errors more quickly.

Views and Viewpoints - As a rule of thumb, everything you see in the 3D views will be included in the export.

Argyle has a Revit addin and a Navisworks addin. If it’s not a native Revit file, it’s best to send it through the Navisworks addin.

TIP: We recommend doing a small test export to see the entire process, then working toward larger sections.

Got just the file? Ask Argyle about model processing. Get in the queue via this form. Note while self-processing is included, Argyle model processing may cost extra: Export Queue
