At Argyle, we think QR codes are a great way to onboard someone new to a project.

Our alignment technology, Risa, and our QR code technologies are different, for good reason. You won’t have to set a gazillion QRs—just a few to help your site staff get started after you’ve set up the experience.

Here is how you set up the QR codes and how someone would access and use the QRs on a project:

There are three ways to set a QR code:

  1. In app
  2. Revit Family QR
  3. Navisworks coordinate QR

When to Use: QR can help tablet and phone-based alignment go faster. QRs help you onboard and share the AR experience.

These QR codes will act similar to the Argyle location avatar - they'll place you very very close to the intended location. For best alignment, set additional Argyle alignment anchors.

Quick QR Workflow Summary

  1. Make min. 2 QRs in backend
  2. Print QRs
  3. Go to site and tape them someplace you’ll want use
  4. Open app, open project, align manually
