Getting Started
:argyle-logo---02: Prepare Your Model View
Before exporting, set up your view for the portion of the model you want to work on.
- Open your Argyle project and navigate to the model view.
- Resize the window or adjust your camera to focus on the desired section (for example, only Level 1 of a building, or a specific room).
- Each major section — such as Basement, Level 1, Level 2, or Mechanical Systems — can now be independently exported.
:argyle-logo---02: Export a Specific View
- Open the Argyle menu and choose Export and Upload.
- The selected view will automatically link to its corresponding model slot.
- You can track how many exports each level has (e.g., Level 1: 2 versions, Level 2: 4 versions).
- Click Export and Upload again to send your changes. The export and upload now happen in one step — no extra button required.
:argyle-logo---02: View and Manage Models in the App
After exporting, open the same project in your Argyle app to see all synced models.
- You will see each level or model as a separate entry (e.g., Level 1, Level 2, Basement).
- Each version is easily distinguishable by timestamps and labels.
- You can toggle model categories (such as Walls, Doors, or Windows) on and off independently.
- Layer multiple models together for full project visualization — such as structural, mechanical, or different wings of a building.

Tips
You are not restricted to organizing models by floor level. You can define custom model layers, such as Level 2 – West Wing or Exterior – Windows.
