This guide provides a comprehensive overview of using the ACC Exporter, a powerful tool designed to streamline the export of project data from Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). By following these steps, users can efficiently select, organize, and export crucial project components, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for various downstream applications.
How to Use the ACC Exporter
Step 1 - Access the Exporter Portal

- Open your web browser and go to portal.argyle.build. This is the central hub for all Argyle related tools, including the ACC Exporter.
- Once on the portal page, direct your attention to the left-hand navigation pane. Here, you will find a clearly labeled section dedicated to the "ACC Exporter.”
- Sign In or Learn More
- To proceed with using the exporter, click on the provided option to "sign in with Autodesk." This will authenticate your access using your existing Autodesk credentials, ensuring secure integration with your ACC projects.
- Alternatively, if you require further information about the exporter's functionalities, benefits, or system requirements, select the "Learn More" option for additional details and resources.
2. Find Your Project Hubs
- After signing in, see a list of all hubs where Argyle has been added and you have access permissions.
- Choose the appropriate hub (example: argyle.build) and navigate through the familiar file structure, similar to your docs folder.
3. Important Note on File Selection
- Revit links do not come through automatically in Autodesk viewers.
- Make sure to open a federated file containing all necessary links, such as a Navisworks federated file, to ensure full inclusion of project components.
4. Navigating the Model Viewer
- Left-click and drag: Rotate the model.
- Middle-click: Pan across the model.
- Scroll wheel: Zoom in and out.
- Shift + middle mouse wheel: Alternate rotate modes.
